Position Description

Adjunct postings are filled based on enrollment. While a posting may exist on our website, there may or may not be a need at this time; however, applications are available for the hiring managers to review on an ongoing basis. Position Summary:

Master's degree in ESL/TESOL OR master's degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in any combination of the following subject areas

English (preferred)

English As a Second Language/TESOL

Grammar

Language Arts-(only one course)

Linguistics

Phonology

Reading

Rhetoric and Composition

Second Language Acquisition

Semantics

1 year teaching English, TESOL or ESL (either in a classroom or lab

setting) OR 1 year teaching in higher education TESOL (including a graduate teaching internship or practicum)
