* Will work with a multidisciplinary group of engineers and designers providing technical services to public and private-sector clients. Primary duties will include control systems engineering, process control strategy planning, automation designs, construction support services, and planning studies with detailed analyses. These designs will be primarily related to water and wastewater treatment plants and related facilities. Experience with equipment selections, equipment and communication network layouts, and process control design coordination with other engineering disciplines is required. Candidates should be at ease with core aspects of PLC, HMI and SCADA system planning, design, and upgrades

* Developing preliminary scope definitions, budgets, and staffing plans

* Field review and evaluation of existing equipment, control systems (hardware and software) and control panels

* Preparing studies, conceptual reports, and technical memorandums

* Conducting I&C engineering and analyses related to various water, wastewater, and industrial waste treatment facilities

* Developing construction documents (drawings, specifications, and schedules). Documents for construction include:

*Technical specifications

*Detailed control strategies/narratives

*Instrument data sheets

*Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's)

*Detailed network communication architecture diagrams,

*Control panel details,

*CCTV and Access Control System drawings,

*Point-to-Point Wiring Diagrams, and

*Instrument installation details

* Construction support activities include:

*Review of Contractor and Supplier submittals

*Participate in construction site inspections

*Support of equipment and control system commissioning, start-up, and performance testing

*Assist with system troubleshooting

* Marketing support activities include:

*Assisting marketing team with project pursuit strategies

*Presentation material development

*Presentation participation

*Serving as I&C discipline subject matter expert

* Travel 3-4 days per month
