Windmoor Healthcare has an excellent career opportunity for an Maintenance Technician (Part Time) to join our team of dedicated professionals. The candidate selected will be responsible for the following:
*Assists the Supervisor in planning and performing preventive maintenance on all buildings and equipment.
*Repairs the buildings and equipment as needed due to failure or routine deterioration.
*Takes immediate action on any safety issues within the facility to endure resident and staff safety.
*Reports any maintenance issued to the Maintenance Supervisor that cannot be repaired by Maintenance Department.
*Inspects all electrical equipment yearly for safety and compliance with hospital standards, state licensing and TJC.
*Assists the Supervisor with implementing and enforcing safety and fire policies and procedures by conducting safety inspections and fire drills. Assists with staff training as needed.
*Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
*Must have High school diploma or equivalent.
*Must have at least two years of maintenance experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
*Must be able to demonstrate experience in all of the following areas: electrical and distribution systems, plumbing, heating and air conditioning water and sewer systems, gardening and landscaping, powered equipment, automobiles and safety and fire protection.
*The candidate must be able to be on-call and answer any calls for service/ emergencies during weekends, holidays, days, and nights.
