Desired work schedule:

5-10 Hours per week - Hours to be determined based on department needs and student schedule.

Seeking a student to fulfill at least a year or two semesters with the department. There are six open positions available at six different campuses; Seminole Campus, Gibbs Campus, Clearwater Campus, Tarpons Springs Campus, EpiCenter, and the Health Education Center.

Job Duties: The Student Ambassador (Student Assistant) will provide administrative support to the SPC Recruitment Services Office through the following functions:

- Supports admissions and recruitment events from planning to execution

- Assists students with scheduling appointments, and providing campus tours

- Responsible for triage related to recruitment appointments and tour inquiries and communications. Provides effective and appropriate connection to resources on campus as needed

- May also be responsible for answering general questions related to admissions, student support services and activities

- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

- Customer service principles

- No academic honesty violations and in good academic standing

- Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for Light Work

- Positions in this class typically require: reaching, standing, walking, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions

- Patience and the ability to work with people of all ages, backgrounds, ethnicity, and ability levels with care and sensitivity is required

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

- Comfort with conducting limited enrollment and industry specific research
