While reporting to the Supervisor, as a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating all manufacturing equipment. Safety, quality, productivity, and strong work ethic are important to the Sonoco culture.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Transport finished goods to storage or staging areas with or without manufacturing equipment
- Shelving, stacking, or loading pallets and containers
- Collaborate with planners, coordinators or supervisors for warehousing and shipping duties
- Audits loading and load tally sheets for accuracy
- May operator forklift equipment, will ensure to do this in a safe manner
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
We'd love to hear from you if:
- You have at least 2 years' experience withwarehouse, shipping and/or forklift operations
- Proficient in computers, Oracle, or another WMS experience a plus
- Ability to work fast paced with a high level of accuracy
- Operates with asafety-firstmentality
