While reporting to the Supervisor, as a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating all manufacturing equipment. Safety, quality, productivity, and strong work ethic are important to the Sonoco culture.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Transport finished goods to storage or staging areas with or without manufacturing equipment
  • Shelving, stacking, or loading pallets and containers
  • Collaborate with planners, coordinators or supervisors for warehousing and shipping duties
  • Audits loading and load tally sheets for accuracy
  • May operator forklift equipment, will ensure to do this in a safe manner
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

We'd love to hear from you if:

  • You have at least 2 years' experience withwarehouse, shipping and/or forklift operations
  • Proficient in computers, Oracle, or another WMS experience a plus
  • Ability to work fast paced with a high level of accuracy
  • Operates with asafety-firstmentality
