General Responsibilities:This position will assist in data and technical reporting, specifically in Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) , Limited Site Investigations and/or Phase II ESAs, Natural Resource Assessments including wetlands and listed species, and potential assistance with Cultural Resource Assessment. This work will involve conducting field investigations including site visits, photo documentation, soil and groundwater sampling, field equipment and vehicle maintenance, as well as laboratory courier assignments for the Site Assessment and Remediation Group and/or Environmental Planning Group of the Jacksonville, Florida.
Requirements:
High school diploma and BS degree in progress in a science or related field (environmental, safety, engineering, chemistry, biology, geology). The ideal candidate will have less than one year remaining to complete their BS degree. This position is NOT REMOTE, it is in person and hourly based on student availability/school schedule.
