Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
Summary:
The Distribution Service Manager oversees the growth, development, and service performance of Eagle Product Inspection's global service partner network. They serve as the primary contact between our service partners around the world and our global service business.
In this important role, the Distribution Service Manager takes ownership of technical issues, maintains detailed records to ensure solutions are found, and collaborates with key team members to deliver results. This requires strong communication skills and attention to detail to ensure a high level of service performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
  • Acts as the main point of contact for external service partner teams globally. Communication channels include cell phone, email, text message, Teams and WhatsApp.
  • Provides exceptional support in an environment that is demanding and fluid due to customer expectations and developments in product technology or procedures.
  • Partners with the Sales Teams to establish annual service growth targets and performance metrics for the service partners. Implement and manage partner service products and programs to support growth targets.
  • Reports on indirect service growth and profitability to senior leadership and partner account managers.
  • Participates in annual partner evaluation process. Works closely with senior leadership during times of transitions, including separation or new partner onboarding.
  • Works with the back-office team on discount approval for spare parts and RMA requests for warranty claims. Performs technical reviews to support approval or denial decisions.
  • Leads investigations and communicates expected support requirements through the quality, engineering, production, and R&D teams. Ensure timely and sustainable resolutions. Advocates for resolution of repeated quality issues. Communicates resolution and feedback to partners.
  • Coordinate annual partner trainings for new products, software, upgrades, options, and strategy.
  • Communicate with the leadership team to ensure collaboration between direct and indirect service channels.
  • People Leader for the Latin America Field Service Engineer. Coordinates schedules for technical and applications support and direct sales and service initiatives.
  • Control and minimize costs by making well informed decisions based on analysis and data.
    • Other duties as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed
Knowledge, Skills, Attitude:
  • Good communications skills and have a strong orientation for customer focus and teamwork.
  • Excellent organizational and people skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Responsiveness to after hour requests.
  • Self-motivating and requires minimum supervision to complete work tasks.
  • Leadership, this position has direct reports.
  • Bi-lingual language skills (English/Spanish) preferred.

Education and Training:
  • Education/Training: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Physical Sciences, Business, or Finance or Minimum of 7 to 10 years proven business management experience required.
  • Experience with industrial X-Ray applications preferred.
