Here's what you'd do:

• Uses predetermined methods, inspection operations, and prescribed specifications to visually inspect solder and conformal coating of circuit card assemblies IAW IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 requirements.
• Role will incorporate instructions, drawings or inspection instructions, checklists, and various measuring devices (dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales) to visually inspect circuit card assemblies to manufacturing and industry specifications, including IPC and related reference documents and standards.

Hours: 4/10-1st Shift.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years experience inspecting solder connections or in assembly building on circuit card assemblies by IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001 requirements.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in IPC-610 and J-STD.
• Minimum of 2 years of solder/visual Inspection experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing/soldering experience in Electronic Assemblies in lieu of quality inspection.
• Minimum of 1 year of conformal coating experience.

• Able to work under a microscope.
• Detailed and process-oriented, proficient at interpreting drawings, diagrams, and parts lists, navigating and understanding IPC standards, revision control, reference documents, and work instructions.
• Team player with good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Personal Computers.
• Interfaces effectively and diplomatically with all levels of manufacturing when addressing quality defects.
• Documentation Skills.
• Knowledge of Measurement Standards.
