Job Description:

The Solutions Architect will support United States Operations Command (SOCOM) in the maintenance and DevSecOps of the cloud environment.

Responsible for developing the technical functional design for the established project and leading technical delivery. The skill set required for this role varies based on the mission need. However, it is typically filled by a Senior Software Engineer or a Senior Data Science/Machine Learning Engineer.

Responsibilities:

Develop enterprise-wide system architectures
• Lead and assist in developing system specifications, technical and logistical requirements, and other disciplines
• Develop and coordinate Integrated Master Schedules for all PEO experiments/lines of effort
• Lead and assist in creating and maintaining programmatic and technical documentation to ensure efficient planning and execution
• Lead and assist in coordinating system development tasks to include design, integration, and formal testing
• Support preliminary design reviews, critical design reviews, test readiness reviews, application functional test/application system integration testing, system readiness reviews, in-process reviews, and other engineer related events
• Coordinate and lead technical discussions and efforts with internal and external customers to transition PEO experiments to other S&T research and development efforts or PEO/PM programs of record
• Develop integrated roadmap that considers future technological opportunities while also maintaining awareness of government security limitations

Required Skills & Experience:

• Shall have a minimum of fourteen (14) years of experience in the Information Technology field, DevSecOps, AI/ML engineering projects, and technical architecture specifically.
• Shall possess strong architecture & design experience, including at least three (3) years of experience deploying production enterprise applications in AWS that use AI/ML.
• Shall have experience in large-scale, high-performance enterprise big data application deployment and solution architecture on complex heterogeneous environments in AWS.
• Experience with multiple operating systems, including LINUX, UNIX, and Windows-based operating systems.
• Experience with Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience with deploying containerized microservices in a Kubernetes infrastructure, with exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Due to US Government Contract Requirements, only US Citizens are eligible for this role.

Education & Certifications:

• Shall have at a minimum, a bachelor's degree in year Computer Science or Information Technology related technical degree
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert OR AWS Solutions Architect Professional OR AWS DevOps Engineer Professional OR Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect

Security Clearance:

• An Active Secrect clearance is REQUIRED but a TS/SCI Clearance is preffered
